Powerful Teams Are Courage Givers

I have heard it said the courage is the core virtue that enables team performance.

Team members possess some courage that belongs to their colleagues. This kind of courage can’t be kept… it must be given away or it will rot in your pocket.  It can only be activated when it’s freely shared.

Sometimes it’s an encouraging word when someone is struggling.  At other times it’s sharing the load making it seem more manageable.  When you remind your co-workers of their strengths when all they can see is their weaknesses you incite them to action.  You embolden them in ways unimagined.

Don’t let their courage rot in your pocket.  Give it away today.  Have the kinds of conversations that move mountains and build unstoppable teams. You can learn more about the most important conversations here.
